Calling all families! The highly anticipated Mattel Adventure Park is set to open its doors in Bonner Springs, just outside of Kansas City, in 2026. This isn't just any theme park – it's a place where iconic Mattel brands, like Hot Wheels, Barbie, and Thomas & Friends, come to life.

Double the Fun: A Second Mattel Park on the Horizon


Kansas City won't be the only place to experience the magic of Mattel. The first Mattel Adventure Park is slated to open in Glendale, Arizona by the end of this year making it a great option for West Coast families. With two locations on the horizon, Mattel is creating a coast-to-coast playground for families across the US.

Gearheads can get their fix with pulse-pounding Hot Wheels-themed roller coasters. The Hot Wheels Bone Shaker promises an "ultimate ride" experience, while the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer offers a more family-friendly adventure.


Thomas & Friends


Little engineers will be in for a treat at Thomas & Friends: World of Sodor. This immersive area will feature five exciting experiences for the whole family, along with an indoor play space designed specifically for younger children.


Barbie Beach House


Step into the world of Barbie at the larger-than-life Barbie Beach House. This area boasts the interactive Barbie Dream Closet Experience, where cutting-edge technology lets guests create their own customized Barbie sets. A flying theater and the chic Barbie Rooftop restaurant and bar round out this glamorous zone.


Laser Tag


Masters of the Universe fans can choose a side and fight for Eternia in a massive laser tag arena built to resemble the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress.


Classic Games


Mattel is bringing the fun of their classic games into the park with an 18-hole mini golf course. Each hole will be themed around beloved games like Magic 8 Ball and Pictionary. Additionally, a giant, custom-built UNO climbing structure promises a unique adventure for all ages.
